Meet Our Troop Leaders: Miss Jodi (Troop Coordinator)

Have you ever seen someone riding her bike in and around Jackie Robinson Park? Well, it might have been Miss Jodi! That is one of the many things that she likes to do.

Miss Jodi was born and raised in Harlem! Her love of Harlem is part of what led her to create the Harlem Girl Scouts; Troop #3027. She was so inspired by President Obama's request for citizens to give back to their community that she contacted the Girl Scout Council of Greater New York and organized volunteers to help her. As the second year of the troop is well under way, she has gotten to know each girl very well. "I enjoy coming to every troop meeting", says Miss Jodi. "I am able to meet with the girls and learn things from them". She currently works in the television industry and is a mentor.
