At today's meeting, the members of Girl Scout Troop #3027 learned about artist Georgia O'Keeffe! O'Keeffe is famous for her drawings of flowers. Our Cadette and Junior members were able to find images of her artwork using web access on their cell phones! Click here to see the drawings by Georgia O'Keeffe that they found!
After learning about this phenomenal woman, and discussing how they can grow up to be phenomenal women, the girls were given an opportunity to draw flowers of their own! This activity ended with planting seeds into two pots that each girl decorated and took home. Well done, girls!
