A Night At the Museum

A Night at the Museum, the American Museum of Natural History’s wildly popular sleepover experience, was very exciting for the 11 girls and troop leaders who took advantage of spending a night in one of New York City's famous buildings.  As the doors closed and the lights dimmed, we headed out with flashlights in search of a variety of adventures.  The girls began the evening in the Hall of Planet Earth and prepared their cots for the evening.  They went on a dinosaur scavenger hunt, encountered live animals and learned all about their habitats.  After snack and a bedtime story, beneath the 94-foot-long blue whale, it was time to fall asleep in the darkened halls of one of the world’s most beloved museums.  First thing in the morning, it was time for breakfast and a visit to the museum's gift shop before heading home.  Oh, what a night!  For more information on all that the museum has to offer, click here!
