Lesson of the Week: Exotic and Uncommon Fruits

Specialty stores and even regular supermarkets are constantly expanding their exotic or obscure fruit and vegetable selections.  However, there are still plenty of uncommon fruits and vegetable that many people have never tried!  This week's lesson was about six fruits that you may have never tasted before.  Some are hybrids from California and others from China and the Caribbean Islands!  All of these can be purchased from your local Pathmark!

Of the six fruits that the girls from Troop #3027 tried, they liked pomegranate the best! Miss Jodi gave them great facts about the aprium and dino pluot; they are hybrid fruits!  The dragon fruit and the star fruit can be found in Asia.  The papaya is from the Caribbean!
