A New Season Begins October 4th

Hello Returning and Perspective Parents! 

I hope everyone had an enjoyable summer and this note finds you all well!

We will be holding registration for Troop #3027 on Saturday, October 4th from 2PM-3:30PM.

Registration fee is $15 per girl and $14 for adults who wish to register with the Girls Scouts to accompany our troop on trips and volunteer at events. 

Registration is on a first come first serve basis. Please know that we have a limited amount of spots available and will open a waiting list after we reach full capacity

At registration we will also distribute information about this years overnight trip to the New York Science Center in Queens.

Girl Scouts is about choices. The first step is simply to decide to be a Girl Scout. Then let us help you find the pathway that suits your needs best right now. Or mix and match your primary interests and make your own path. It will lead you on a journey of amazing adventures.  Girls can join Girl Scouts at different grade–levels:

• Girl Scout Daisy, grades K-1
• Girl Scout Brownie, grades 2-3
• Girl Scout Junior, grades 4-5
• Girl Scout Cadette, grades 6-8
• Girl Scout Senior, grades 9-10
• Girl Scout Ambassador, grades 11-12

Early Registration for the 2013-2014 Season

Greetings New & Returning Troop #3027 Parents,

We have great news!  Although the Kennedy Center had planned on being closed for the holiday weekend, Mr. Rodney (Kennedy Center Director) will be opening the doors for us to have our second registration meeting! 

So, if you would like your daughter to join our troop or if she is returning, please make sure to visit us at the Kennedy Center this Saturday, August 31st from 11-12pm.  Keep in mind, we have limited space available for our troop.

All girls who register this Saturday will receive an early registration patch!  Registration fee is $15.  Parents who will be going on trips with us are strongly encouraged to register, as well.  Adult registration fee is $15.  Our first bi-weekly troop meeting will be on Saturday, October 19th.  Meeting dues are $12.  More details will be given next month.  Keep an eye on our blog for information.

This is also the final opportunity to purchase Thin Mint Cookies!  Each box is $4!  Please ask friends and family members to support our troop by buying a box or two :)
