Girls Just Want To Have Fun!

Besides loving the color pink, Hello Kitty stickers, and the latest fashion, the girls of Troop #3027 enjoy making things and decorating! Troop leaders, including Troop Mother Emma, organize materials for craft and baking activities done during each meeting. For ideas on how to do some of the activities at home that we do during troop meetings, check out the following links:

Troop #3027 Donates Coats and Toys to Charity!

From December 1st to January 31st, Harlem Girls Scout Leaders will be asking the girls to bring in a new or gently used coat to donate to charity. Brand new toys will also be collected and given to an organization called Angel Tree.

Angel Tree donates new toys to children of incarcerated parents. Did you know that:
  • More than half of all incarcerated men and women are parents.
  • About 75% of women in prison are mothers.
  • 1 in every 43 children have a parent in prison.
With our help, many children with parents in prison will get a gift during this holiday season.
